READ.ME for EMWAC HTTP SERVER 0.991 for Windows NT ------------------------------------------------- Version 0.991 of the Freeware EMWAC HTTP Server for Windows NT contains the following changes: * Bug fixed: Server crashes if an HTTP header is too long (Reported by Charles Andraka). * File MSVCRT20.DLL no longer required for the control panel applet. Changes in version 0.99 ----------------------- * Bug fixed: Residual problem with PATH_INFO and Perl scripts (reported by Oliver Gramberg). Changes in version 0.98 ----------------------- * Bug fixed: PATH_INFO no longer works (introduced in 0.97). * Bug fixed: Netscape displays an error every time form data is POSTed to the server. * Extra file included: MSVCRT20.DLL is needed. Changes in version 0.97 ----------------------- * Bug fixed: stops listening on RAS address if line goes down. * Bug fixed: memory leak from CGI scripts. * Bug fixed: user pressing STOP causes error to be logged in the Event Log. * Bug fixed: data sensitivity when passing POSTed data to CGI scripts. * Bug fixed: does not distinguish Accept: and Acceptxxxx: as being different types of headers. * Bug fixed: does not always parse .MAP files correctly. * Bug fixed: does not replace + with spaces when passing search terms to WAISLOOK program. * Server recognises .PL as a Perl script and tries to execute the PERL interpreter on it. This server has been produced as part of the European Microsoft Windows NT Academic Centre (EMWAC) project.
