Short: Stereoscopic version of X-Windows Ico Author: dmckinstry@mail.ewu.edu (David McKinstry) Uploader: dmckinstry mail ewu edu (David McKinstry) Type: gfx Requires: AmigaOS2 or higher Architecture: m68k-amigaos Distribution: aminet Could be of interest to geometry students or teachers. Requires Red/Blue 3D glasses. This program works, but not in stereo when using more than 8 bit-planes of color, as masking (as it currently exists for CyberGraphics & Picasso 96) doesn't work in for those cases. However, it should work properly with 8 or more colors, up to and including 256 colors. Read the StIco.Guide file for instructions. This program is based on the X-Windows program Ico. I originally modified that the original code (using Dale Luck's X-Window package) to work as a steroscopic animation. Since then, I've ported it to AmigaOS and Windows, and added the Bucky Ball option. Source code is included. As with the program Crystal_Lattices, which was recently uploaded to AmiNet, the current version has been compiled using the Sas compiler running on UAE. Animation speed is not expecially good running on UAE, but is usable. Dave McKinstry
