Short: ANSI font for the Amiga (640x480) Uploader: robodude jhunix hcd jhu edu Type: text/font Architecture: generic Most ANSI-compliant font sets look square on 640x480 displays (8x8 resolution). Well, this font fixes the problem. While using 8x6 resolution, I was still able to preserve most attributes of some extended ANSI characters. Also, the actual alphanumeric characters resemble the XEN fonttype to some extent, so it actually still looks good. Disclaimer: no disclaimers. I created this font in one hour and therefore allow anybody to copy/modify it as much as they like. Oh yeah, if it don't work, don't blame me. USEAGE: Use this only if you have a 640x480 display or some other resolution with the same aspect ratio. To use it, you must create a subdirectory in FONTS: because I didn't know how to compress while retaining the directory name (something like -x; didn't bother to look into it). The directory name should be the same as the font name. Copy the file "8" into it and copy ANSEY.font to FONTS:. That should do it. This font is obviously not perfected. You're welcome to enhance it and upload a "better" version (as far as it IS in fact better). Also, there might be some minor errors withint the graphics characters; I didn't have the time to check everything. So if you find an error, you can a) fix it yourself, b) let me know.
