SHORE Project Beta Release

The latest release of the Shore software is version 0.9, a beta release. This release is publicly available, but we must focus our support efforts on a limited number of supported sites. All users are free to submit questions, comments, and problem reports to

shore_support@cs.wisc.edu.

We will give priority to our supported sites. For now, the supported sites are all the current alpha-test sites. We will expand this list as the beta test proceeeds.

The documentation that accompanies the release is available online. This documentation is still incomplete in some areas. We are actively working on improving it and welcome your suggestions.

Compressed tar files containing the documentation, sources and binaries are available from: ftp.cs.wisc.edu in the directory shore/beta/.

Mailing lists exist for contacting users and the the developers of Shore.
