The IESG tentatively approved publication of Remote Network Monitoring MIB Protocol Identifier Reference Extensions as a Proposed Standard. Bert to contact authors about additional text for the Security Considerations section. When Bert conveys an OK, Steve to send announcement. 3. The IESG approved publication of Grouping of media lines in SDP as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG tentatively approved publication of SDP Simple Capability Declaration as a Proposed Standard. Allison to draft RFC Editor note, which will be reviewed by Steve Bellovin. If acceptable, Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG supports the RFC editor adoption of the guidelines discussed in RFC Editor Guidelines on Author Lists . However, rather than publish it as a standalone informational document, the IESG recommends that the RFC editor merge the text into its current revision of "Instructions to Request for Comments (RFC) Authors" document. Steve to take Scott's text, rework the announcement, and send to the IESG. If OK, the announcement is to be posted. 6. Steve to send a WG Review message for V6 Operations (v6ops), a proposed Working Group in the Management and Operations Area. 7. The IESG approved publication of Network Hierarchy and Multilayer Survivability as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 8. The IESG approved publication of the following two Internet-Drafts as Experimental Protocols: o Asynchronous Layered Coding protocol instantiation o Layered Coding Transport transport building block Steve to send announcement. 9. The IESG approved publication of Private Extensions to the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for the 3rd-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) as an Informational RFC, but an RFC Editor Note is needed.
