1930s Sport Planes for fs98 or Golden Wings, Mar, 99. These two aircraft are representative of those sport planes flown in the golden age of aviation. The Pietenpol Air Camper was one of the first of many homebuilt aircraft that ultimately resulted in the current day EAA. At the other end of the spectrum were aircraft such as the Monocoupe 90, a speedy much sought after gentleman's sport plane. Fly the Air Camper on quiet summer evenings exploring 1930's rural America, landing in meadows and valleys or do some aerobatics with the Monocoupe when you are in a more adventurous mood! These are the first two Golden Wings models with moving control surfaces and animated pilots. Be sure to watch the pilot as he checks his controls before taking off. You are invited to visit the Golden Wings Hangar as well as the other vintage sites listed below to join a growing group of classic aircraft enthusiasts who are banding together to share and enjoy this great hobby. Installation: Unzip the sport.zip file directly into your main Golden Wings or fs98 directory and it will self install. The two aircraft will be there for you to select when you boot your system up. As above please drop by the Golden Wings Hangar at http://members.xoom.com/ GOLDENWINGS/ and check out the program that converts a copy of fs98 into the world as it appeared in the golden age of aviation. Also check out these other really great aviation history sites: The Old Hangar, http://www.flightsimmers.net/tommy/ The Beacon, http://www.flightsimmers.net/bookman/ Raincross Airways, http://www.fly.to/raincross/ Please enjoy these aircraft and do a little time traveling back to that romantic era when airplanes were magic carpets that took us where mere mortals could not go! As always, comments are welcome. Good flying and happy landings, Bill Lyons billy14@concentric.net
