The file nhplusX.bin.aout.tgz contains a version of nhplus compiled for
linux.

This version was compiled by Michael Lachmann-Tarkhanov
<dirk@weismann.Stanford.EDU> from the sources here on ftp.win.tue.nl,
from the version of the sources that was there in September 95. This
version was compiled for both X11 and tty.

Special options for this compile:

- Since there is a known bug with water weirds, which caused the
  original NetHack Plus to crash on the Castle level, this version was
  compiled without water weirds. For this, some minor changes in the
  code where neccessary. Note that I am not sure if there is a WoW in
  the castle now.

- The monk now gets correctly rewarded for his sacrifices.

- The X11 code was taken from the latest nh3.1.3, and not the code in
  the nhplus source.

- The code was compiled so that one-line requesters don't pop up,
  because of a bug in the X11 code, which would otherwise slow things
  down.
