**************** FS98 DYNAMIC SCENERY FOR EASTER ISLAND ******************** FREEWARE EaIDyn1.0.zip (January 2000) by Carlos Valera **************************************************************************** CONTENTS: The zip file contents the following: easterdyn.bgl ----------------> the dynamic and static scenery Texture.zip ----------------> the textures used Easterlib.bgl ----------------> the dynamic library of the scenery EaIdyn1.0.bmp ----------------> preview of the scenery Readme.txt ----------------> the file that you are reading right now **************************************************************************** INSTALATION: (read this only if you don't know how to make active new scenery areas) Create a new folder in FS98 called Easter, for example: C:\FS98\Scenery\Easter. Then, in "Easter", create a new folder called "Scenery". Unzip the easterdyn.bgl in "Scenery" and the "Textures" zip in the main FS98 Textures folder. Put the Easterlib.bgl in the main FS98 scenery folder Then start FS98, go to the Scenery Library and make the new scenery active. Set it as local. Put a lower layer number than the other Scenery areas that come in the CD. **************************************************************************** What's in the Scenery?: The dynamic scenery in Easter Island includes 3 aircrafts (a Cessna, a Piper Tri-Pacer and a Piper Colt). The Static scenery includes 5 Learjets parking (at middle of the runway, right hand). If you wanna get into the action of the scenery try chasing the aircrafts or try parking near the Piper Tri Pacer (the blue one). That's why I leaved a space near the plane. **************************************************************************** Notes: This Easter Island scenery was made for FS98. I haven't tested it on FS95 or older versions, but it should work. You'll have to find out by yourself. Aircrafts will take off and land in Rwy 10, so keep your eyes open! Maybe, in a future version of this zip, i'll add more planes and some boats in the sea. **************************************************************************** Credits: - Rafael Sanchez for his DOD (Dynamic Object Designer) 3.0. In my opinion it's a very good program. - Konstantin Kukushkin's Dynkit. This is a program that allows you to import aircraft MDL files (converted by the aircraft and adventure converter utility) into BGL files. Download it at http://www.pobox.com/~kk/fs/dynkit/ - Adam Szofran for his Flight Recording utility. Very useful. - All the Aircraft designers for their creations used on DOD and this scenery. Thanks a lot. **************************************************************************** This software is released as is. Installation is at your own risk.
