HISTORY:

National Airlines started operating the DC-10 jets for the sevice to Europe, 
in 1973, in company of the Boeing 747. These planes flew from LAX, MIA and JFK 
to London, Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt until 1980, when National was absorbed by PanAm 
at Jan 7th 1980.
