Aérospatiale / AIR ATR-42 and ATR-72 Panel Version 1.0 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 by Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de September 14, 1998 Thank you for download this panel. It is designed with a photo of the original ATR-42 cockpit. I've tried to build it as exactly as possible, but the photo I used was not very clear, so sometimes I had to advise where they belongs to. The panel for the ATR-42 is the same as for the ATR-72. So you can use it for both aircrafts. Please read the Instructions below for further information about the panel. Read also the Installation part for the correct installation of all files. Note: I couldn't test the panel with the Monster 3D-card. So I don't know if it works correct with it. Sorry :-( Installation: You need to have installed Flight Simulator FS98 Converter. Unzip the gauges.zip to your Flighsim main Gauges directory. If you already have some of the gauges you don't need to delete them. They should be the same. Unzip the Panel.zip and replace the panel.cfg file to the panel folder of your favourite aircraft. For more reality use an ATR-42/72 Copy the CLICK.WAV and the SIGN.WAV files into the FS98/SOUND directory. Some of the required gauge files are shipped with FS98. If you renamed or deleted one of these original files you could send me an Email with a short description, which instrument not correct work. I will send you another config and gauge file. Instructions: Press the left button below Nav-2 to open the Radio and Transponder. The light in the upper middle of the panel is for the speedbrake. It shines on, if the brake is operated. The lamps in the lower right side of the panel and right beside the altimeter are just fakes. You could switch them on with the upper left switches. The ed461_desc.jpg is a description for the ED-461 HSI. Credits: I would like to thank: Harald Geier, Helmut Busch and Christian Koegler for some of the used gauges. Feel free to send feedback or comments. I'm looking forward to your Mails to know in which part of the world this panel is used. Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de
