HISTORY:

Piedmont Airlines Boeing 737 fleet grew up, in the 70's, specially when the deregulation
took effect and the airline was pushed out of CLT airport. By 1985, the brand new
737-300 was added, setting Piedmont as one of the 1st customers for the type (beside
Air Cal and Southwest). In 1989, Piedmont was merged into USAir, and disappeared completely
by 1990.
