***ATTENTION*** Version 0.62 of ENskip may be dangerous to your health. It has been tested on Linux, and on Solaris 2.5.1. NetBSD, NextSTEP and Irix are currently disfunctional, altough they might be fixed with an hours work. For Solaris 2.5.1 very infrequent chrashes were observed, when trying to do skip_detach. Otherwise it seems to work fine now. Try it out and pray. And tell me the results... Germano ***WARNING*** Different OS releases (especially Solaris 2.4 and 2.5): Even if it is compiled from the same source tree and nothing in ENskip is specific to either release, you *ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO* recompileENskip for each of the different releases, because often the include files have changed together with internal structures. This also means that you might have to use the correct compiler and include files for your current OS release (e.g. gcc must be re-installed when upgrading from Solaris 2.4 to 2.5, since it creates own modified copies of the header files). To tell it again: Solaris 2.4 and 2.5 are incompatible on the kernel level, trying it yourself *WILL* crash your system and your harddisk (just believe us, we re-installed two machines from scratch!)
