v2.00 of The KarlBridge (Demo/Shareware version).

The KarlBridge is a protocol filtering bridge that currently supports
tcp/ip, Appletalk, DECnet and Novell.

It requires a 286 or better processor and two SMC Elite/16 cards (1MB
of RAM). It also requires a bootable floppy which the kbridge.exe
program is written to.

It will filter on any Ethernet protocol (in a pass/deny nature)

The distribution also comes with a configuration program (the same
one as for the commercial version). This allows EASY set-up of the
bridge (i.e. many of the protocols can be filtered by name, others
require the protocol number to entered). The configuration program
is run from DOS and configures the local kbridge.exe file.

The KarlBridge fully supports SNMP and the configuration program may
be used to view the remote configuration of a Demo/Shareware KarlBridge
(but as the demo version is floppy based no changes can be written back).

Details of the commercial version are contained within the zip (it does
a lot more including IP routing).

The configuration program works over standard Crynwr packet drivers
(formerly Clarkson Packet drivers) and has a simple SNMP monitor that
can be used to monitor any SNMP device.
