Support Level Supplement (SLS) ptf7044g, the ADABAS-C Driver API Supplement,
enables the Software A.G. ADABAS-C Database product to be run on UnixWare.
For further information on this product, consult your ADABAS-C documentation
or your Software A.G. supplier.


Software Notes and Recommendations
----------------------------------

SLS ptf7044g should only be installed on:

        UnixWare 7 Release 7.0.0, 7.0.1, 7.1.0, 7.1.1

SLS ptf7044g is incompatible with the following UnixWare 7.1.1 
Support Level Supplements:

        SLS ptf7603 
        SLS set71101 (the UnixWare 7.1.1 Maintenance Set, which 
         includes ptf7603).


Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the ptf7044g.Z and ptf7044g.txt files to the /tmp directory
   on your machine.

2. As root, uncompress the file and add the package to your system
   using these commands:

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf7044g.Z
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf7044g
        # rm /tmp/ptf7044g

3. Reboot the system after installing this SLS.

The release notes displayed prior to installation can be found in:

        /var/sadm/pkg/ptf7044/install/ptf7044.txt


Removal Instructions
---------------------

1. As root, remove the package.

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # pkgrm ptf7044

2. Reboot the system after removing this SLS.
