Dear SCO Customer, Support Level Supplement (SLS) ptf7614c, the UnixWare 7.1.1 scodb Driver Supplement, addresses the issues listed below. SLS ptf7614a addressed the following issue: 1. A problem where scodb could not be loaded occurred. /var/adm/log/osmlog displays this message: Undefined symbol db_cp_active in loadable module /etc/conf/pack.d/scodb SLS ptf7614b added the option to install in quiet mode. SLS ptf7614c corrected a pathname error in SLS ptf7614b's documentation. As root, uncompress the file and add the SLS package to your system using these commands: $ su Password: # uncompress /tmp/ptf7614c.Z # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf7614c # rm /tmp/ptf7614c Alternatively, this SLS package may be installed in quiet mode, that is, without displaying the release notes and asking for installation confirmation. To do this, use these commands: $ su Password: # uncompress /tmp/ptf7614c.Z # pkgadd -qd /tmp/ptf7614c all # rm /tmp/ptf7614c 3. Reboot the system after installing this SLS package. The release notes displayed prior to installation can be found in: /var/sadm/pkg/ptf7614/install/ptf7614.txt Removal Instructions -------------------- 1. As root, remove the SLS package using these commands: $ su Password: # pkgrm ptf7614 2. Reboot the system after removing this SLS package.
