The following packages have either been added or updated recently. To install: download, extract the tar archive into an empty directory and use the SCO Software Manager (custom) to install from media images. Note that many of the graphical X clients depend on the Graphics Libraries package which must be installed first.

02-Oct-2000 lsof-4.51-VOLS.tar An update to the latest release of lsof (list open files). Note that this was compiled on OpenServer 5.0.5 and may need to be recompiled for other releases of OpenServer.
02-Oct-2000 enhydra-3.0.1-VOLS.tar An update to the latest release of Enhydra, an Open Source Java/XML application server from Lutris Technologies. Note that Enhydra is dependant on the JDK and Swing (below). See http://www.enhydra.org for additional info on Enhydra.
02-Oct-2000 swing-1.1-VOLS.tar A repackaging of the Java Foundation Classes (Swing) for OpenServer. This releases installs with the SCO Software Manager (/etc/custom) rather than pkgadd.

06-Jan-2000 vim-5.5-VOLS.tar Vim, Vi IMproved, is a programmers text editor. The SCO Open Source Program Architect uses vim as his text editor of choice. Dr. Record states: Vim is way cool. It recognizes most filetypes and can be configured to color the syntax intelligently. That is, if i edit an HTML document or shell script or C source file, vim knows that and displays the text colored according to its syntactical context. It even highlights things like missing end-quotes, braces and such.
06-Jan-2000 expect-5.30-VOLS.tar Expect is a program that "talks" to other interactive programs according to a script. Following the script, Expect knows what can be expected from a program and what the correct response should be. This revised release of Expect for OpenServer includes an autopasswd script corrected for use with the OpenServer passwd program.
06-Jan-2000 ntp-4.0.98h-VOLS.tar NTP, the Network Time Protocol distribution, is used to synchronize the time of a computer client or server to another server or reference time source, such as a radio or satellite receiver or modem. It provides client accuracies typically within a millisecond on LANs and up to a few tens of milliseconds on WANs relative to a primary server synchronized to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) via a Global Positioning Service receiver, for example. Typical NTP configurations utilize multiple redundant servers and diverse network paths, in order to achieve high accuracy and reliability.
06-Jan-2000 sh-utils-2.0-VOLS.tar The GNU Shell Utilities are a set of replacements for the standard UNIX shell utilities such as basename, env, test, who, chroot, expr, ... This latest release of the GNU Shell Utilities is Y2K compliant. Previous releases of the GNU sh-utils package include a date command which may not understand dates after December 31, 1999.
06-Jan-2000 ImageMagick-5.1.0-VOLS.tar ImageMagick is an X11 package for display and interactive manipulation of images. ImageMagick, version 5.1.0, is a robust collection of tools and libraries to read, write, and manipulate an image in any of the more popular image formats including GIF, JPEG, PNG, PDF, and Photo CD. With ImageMagick you can create GIFs dynamically making it suitable for Web applications. You can also resize, rotate, sharpen, color reduce, or add special effects to an image and save your completed work in the same or differing image format.

06-Jan-2000 elm-2.5.2-VOLS.tar This latest release of Elm, an interactive mail system, is now Y2K compliant. Previous releases of Elm may time-stamp messages sent in the year 2000 as being sent in the year 100.
06-Jan-2000 hypermail-2b29-VOLS.tar This latest release of Hypermail, a UNIX mailbox to HTML converter, is Y2K compliant. Previous releases of Hypermail may not sort messages sent in the year 2000 correctly. Note that this release of Hypermail may not be compatible with previous releases. The current release of the Apache web server for UnixWare 7, this package includes support for Server-side Java (JServ), PHP, deployment on Non-Stop Clusters, preconfigured for use with the SCO Webtop and more. This distribution of PHP includes MySQL and GD support and has been built as a dynamically loaded Apache module. See http://www.php.net for additional information on PHP. This package depends on the gdbm package (below) as well as the glibs and jsdk packages.

This is the first release for UnixWare 7 and should be considered pre-alpha as it is only the result of my getting OpenDX to compile and install. There are still run-time errors that need to be debugged. Any help on this project would be appreciated.
